The headline in today’s Dayton Daily News has become a flashpoint of sorts for those who follow Ohio State basketball.
For some, this is exhibit A, B, C and D as to why the Buckeyes should never schedule in-state schools. There’s just no upside.
For others, this proves that OSU should include Ohio teams as a part of a beefed up non-conference schedule that would help prevent early Tournament losses. After all, if a coach believes you should work as hard as possible in practice every day, shouldn’t non-conference opponents put up at least a little bit of resistance?
