Blue Jackets Have Five Olympians

The NHL today supplied reporters with the list of league players who had made an Olympic roster.

Blue Jackets Sergei Bobrovsky, Nikita Nikitin, Fedor Tyutin and Artem Anisimov will be playing in their home country of Russia. Of that group, only Tyutin has participated in the games before (2006 and 2010).

Overall, there are ten teams that field more than five Olympians, including CBJ division rivals Pittsburgh and the New York Rangers. Here are the rest of the numbers from the Metropolitan:

Pittsburgh Penguins-7
New York Rangers-7
Columbus Blue Jackets-5
Philadelphia Flyers-5
New York Islanders-4
Carolina Hurricanes-3
New Jersey Devils-3
