Grant Reed Provides Band Aid

What were you doing at age 12?

Grant Reed is kicking cancer’s rear end and directing the Ohio State Marching Band.

That’s right. The young man, who named his brain cancer “Michigan” and then beat that tumor up north, is celebrating the win by serving as a guest conductor of TBDBITL.

There couldn’t be a more appropriate honor considering his parents met as members of the band and got engaged at a game in 1994.

Here you can watch as Reed directs “Hang on Sloopy,” takes a bow, and leads the crowd in an O-H…I-O chant.
