Next Up? Robot Caddies.

The first golf course in the United States to offer hovercrafts to help you get around, during your round is right here in Ohio.

Yes, that’s right. I said hovercrafts.

Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield, Ohio is holding a big event July 27 to unveil the first ever golf cart that can cross a water hazard.

Although, you can get an idea of what it will be like from this video.

“We wanted to be able to offer something no other course could,” course director Pete Duffey told the Golf Channel. “It was an easy decision. When we saw them on YouTube, we said ‘We gotta have those!’”

While this isn’t exactly par for the course in the golf world yet, the Air Force and Disney World are using similar technology.
