There are students camping out in anticipation of Sunday’s sold-out men’s basketball game between Ohio State and Michigan.
The campers have named their little tent city, MATTAritaville in honor of OSU coach Thad Matta.
Oh, yeah, they also have their own Twitter account.
Speaking of Twitter, the Buckeyes actually made a food run out to fans today and then tweeted about it.
And Ricky Darling of College Spun visited to interview some of the tent dwellers. His investigative reporting reveals that the students aren’t exactly roughing it. They have heaters, TVs, video game systems and Amedeo Della Valle-delivered donuts.
One last link to share with you. MLive has a nice story about how Trey Burke is not at peace with Ohio State’s decision not to recruit him.
