Sports Illustrated’s Tony Pauline reports that, in addition to getting his team ready to play Wisconsin, Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer is also busy trying to convince Johnathan Hankins to stay for another season.
Although Pauline indicates that Hankins is listening, he also says that Hankins, “has told people around him its [sic] “95%” he’ll enter the draft.
And Hankins is not the only Buckeye considering turning pro. “We’ve also been told that Buckeye cornerback Bradley Roby will consider entering the draft if he receives first round consideration,” reports Pauline.
“I think his best days are ahead of him. He’s going to be a great player,” Coombs said, “He needs more time, more seasoning. Just to look at the progress he’s made, certainly from March to November but even from September to November gives you an indication of how good he can be…I’m looking forward to coaching him for another year.”
