As you may know, Ohio State running back Bri’onte Dunn was pulled over for a traffic stop this past Saturday night. Police said they found 200 grams of marijuana and a wooden pipe used for smoking marijuana in the car.
There was no evidence that the marijuana or pipe belonged to Dunn, however, so he is not facing drug charges.
He will still have to address the fact that police say he was not wearing his seat belt, and Dunn and nearly struck a cruiser by going past the stopping bar at a red light. The latter has resulted in Alliance Law Director Andrew Zumbar deciding to press disorderly conduct charges.
Today the Alliance Police Department released their incident report: Brionte Dunn Police Report
Also today, The Canton Repository’s Todd Porter spoke with Bri’onte Dunn’s father. Brion Dunn said his son passed a drug test taken in Columbus.
Bri’onte Dunn is an incoming freshman, who was twice named first team All-State during his high school career. He is not currently listed on the Buckeye two-deep, but could be one of the players to benefit from the fact that Jordan Hall is expected to miss the start of the season with a foot injury.
